8th Grade Literacy Support
The 8th grade literacy teachers would love for you to support our mission of increasing reading stamina, vocabulary and developing a lifelong love for reading. How? Every student should read at home for thirty minutes a night. We would expect that five nights a week would accomplish our three goals. This is an expectation throughout the district; we try to make it easy. Students are allowed to borrow books from the classroom and there are no charts to fill out. The habit of setting aside time every night will be good practice for high school. Thank you for all you do. We have somegreat 8th graders!
