Dressing out in Physical Education involves wearing the blue Aurora Hills Physical Education T-shirt (plain white shirt for 6th grade),  any color gym shorts or sweat pants and tennis shoes. The PE department has been disappointed this year with the large number of students not dressing out for class. Reasons to dress out for PE include (but are not limited to): hygiene, ease of movement / least restrictive, leading to best performance. Please ask your child if they have PE and if they have everything they need to do their best in class. 

Make up work in Physical Education is physical activity at home or outside of the school day. That could be intramurals, or an after school sport. This time of year with cold temperatures, we have to be more creative how we get our physical activity. Please think about how your child can be active on a regular basis. Join in with them. Better physically fit students have a better chance of being physically fit adults.
