We are now accepting applications for the National Junior Honor Society of Aurora Hills Middle School. Membership is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, service, and citizenship. To be eligible for membership, the candidate must be a member of sixth grade in the second semester, seventh grade, or eighth grade at Aurora Hills Middle School. Candidates must have a cumulative scholastic average of 3.4. To calculate GPA with standards based grading thefollowing will apply: A=4, P=3, PP=2, U=1. The work habits grade shall also be averaged in with the academic grades to count towards the average. Applications are available in the main office or from room 231. Applications are due to Mrs. Benninger or the main office by February 12, 2009.
