We are Stronger Together
Joining the Mustang Family means just that. As a family we look out for each other and collectively support individuals to be their best. Students engage with small groups in advisory every day and we have a strong student support team. Students that report having a trusted adult in the school typically experience much more success.

Mustang Morning is an opportunity for students to connect in a smaller group everyday. During this time students engage in community building, social-emotional learning, and career/academic planning. In alignment with APS, every student needs to have a plan to pursue opportunities after Aurora Hills.
-
Our mental health team creates a safe place for students to seek support by providing individual, group and classroom guidance to all students in the academic, career, and personal/social domains to foster independence that will further their achievement in all areas.

Through Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports(PBIS) students are taught and supported to LEAD the Mustang Way. This system of supports includes a Restorative Justice approach to repair the harm done when expectations are not met. All students are supported to live boldly with integrity and responsibility.
Ms. Richardson has helped me by being an adult I can trust. She has helped by making it not so scary and made my 6th grade year better. Ms. Richardson helps me figure things out with other people.
