Why I love to teach

I love seeing students make growth. I like seeing when students are proud of themselves for their success. I like when they make the connections and can work through a difficult problem. I like seeing my student's confidence grow.

Professional Background

I have been in education for the last 12 years. I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade math for 8 years. Then was a middle school math coach/department head for the previous 4 years. I taught in New Hampshire and Massachusetts before recently moving to Colorado.

If I wasn't a teacher I would be...

the owner of an adventure camp. I would offer a place for hiking, biking, ATVing, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding. As well as beginner survival training and map and compass classes.

Favorite pastimes

I enjoy walking my dog, watching sports, hiking, going on bike rides, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, riding my motorcycle, snowmobiling, ATVing, binge watching TV, reading, camping, cooking and baking, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
