Why I love to teach
Every school year brings a different group of students and the "year" takes on a personality of its own. While I have been teaching world history for 13 years, each year is unique because of the energy and interests that students bring. As a life long learner myself, I appreciate that my students challenge me to look at familiar topics through an unfamiliar lens, and to think deeper and differently. As a teacher, I am invited daily to reflect and reconsider; I am invited daily to be a learner myself!
